Restoration of the English Rudge Whitworth bicycle

Renovation project of a 1940s English Rudge Withworth bicycle. Ideal for the Women’s Auxiliary Service (PSZ) and our reenactment group. The bike was in poor condition, requiring a lot of work, sandblasting, priming, and matching with stove enamel paint. Every original English inch screw was refurbished and preserved. The bike has an interesting history, bought from a collector in the Netherlands who gathered a collection of bicycles and equipment for the “Band of Brothers” series. We purchased the missing equipment in England.
