An order that called Anders’s army. 75 years pass
75 years ago, on July 21, 1943, by order of the Commander-in-Chief general Władysław Sikorski, the Polish 2nd Corps was created from units of the Polish Army in the East, under the command of General Władysław Anders. Incorporated in the Polish Armed Forces in the West as a tactical union in the British 8th Army, he participated in the Italian Campaign.
