16th October 2010, Monte Casino- air soft battle event

On 16th October 2010, near the monument commemorating the Allied Airmen in Józefów, first tactical event with using ASG replica and based on the events from 66 years ago, was organized. During the event, one group was defending the line of sandy hill (which plays Monte Cassino role), while second group was trying to conquer it. 65 people from Mazovian Voivodeship and military vintage vehicles from the Museum of the Polish Second Corps took part in the event. The weather was lovely and army-style pea soup was cooked for all participants.
